From Switzerland to China: Transporting the Exhibition
As part of FINAIS’s international logistics activities, our team recently coordinated the transportation of artworks for Romance and Starlight: A Symphonic Epic from Romanticism to Modernism at the Guizhou Provincial Museum in China.
The exhibition brings together more than 80 original works by over 50 Western artists, tracing the development of European art from Romanticism and Realism through Impressionism to Modernism. Among the works presented are six original paintings by Claude Monet.
From preparation and specialised packing to transport and delivery, each stage required careful coordination to ensure that the artworks could travel safely from Europe to China and arrive ready for exhibition.
